About Amber Rose
Amber Rose is a proud mother, activist, television and radio personality, producer, entrepreneur and published author from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. MUVA, as she is affectionately known, has quickly become the unapologetic face of neo-feminism. Initially, accredited mostly to her striking appearance and keen fashion sense, Rose’s rise to massive popularity is now largely attributed to her controversial yet impactful voice on women issues.
At the core of the Amber Rose brand is her non-profit, the Amber Rose Foundation, dedicated to women, art empowerment and equality. Annually, Rose rallies her massive social media following to help produce the largest “SlutWalk” in the world, drawing more than 21,000 people to stand with her, as well as millions who stream online in support of gender equality and combating rape culture.
In addition to her philanthropy, Rose has an extensive entrepreneurial profile, which includes being a national brand ambassador for various corporations from Estee Lauder (Flirt Cosmetics), Reebok, Beats, as well as producing film and television, being an active public speaker, a top-selling author for her book, “How to Be a Bad Bitch”, and the #1 paid-app in the world, “MUVAmoji”. She also recently appeared on Season 23 of ABC’s hit show, “Dancing with the Stars” and is launching a blog on a multitude of feminism issues.
Whereas Rose’s empire continues to flourish, she is the most proud of being a devoted mother to her son, Sebastian Taylor Thomaz.
